2. Information Collected
2.1 We collect information provided by you directly to us on the Site, such as when you create an account, order a product or request service or otherwise directly contact us. If you do not provide required information for a particular activity, you may not be able to complete what you are attempting to accomplish on the Site.
2.3 The Site may also use “pixel tags” (sometimes called “web beacons” or “clear gifs”), which are tiny graphic images. Pixel tags help us analyze users’ online behavior and measure the effectiveness of the Site and its content. Pixel tags or clear gif files have unique labels and work in a similar way to cookies and for similar purposes. In contrast to cookies, which are saved on a user’s computer hard disk, clear gif files are embedded invisibly in websites and are about as big as the period at the end of this sentence. Wherever appropriate, we may combine the information collected by any such devices with the Personal Information of our customers. We may work with service providers that help us track, collect, and analyze that information.
2.4 Examples of information that may be collected that way include: your browser, type of device and its IP address, operating system, your Internet, service provider, pages you visit on the Site, and geographic location. Cookies may also collect information about your interactions with communications, such as whether emails were opened, and if links in those emails were clicked.
2.5 We collect email addresses and information related to marketing services. When you use the Site, you may, for example, be given the option to subscribe to an email list or request certain resource materials or to subscribe to any list or newsletter. Subscriptions to the email list can be cancelled at any time. After we collect your email address, it may be shared with third parties if you earlier gave us permission to do so.
2.8 Please remember to update your Personal Information if it changes.
